Pharmacies utilizing MPS container systems can leverage MPS’s GMP-level Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) validations, performed in collaboration with a certified third-party laboratory.

MPS has conducted comprehensive CCIT validations using water at the maximum fill level specified on the product label for each container. Since container closure integrity tests are specific to the container itself—not the drug—customers can utilize MPS’s existing validation data. All MPS CCIT validations were performed using water. With support from the same third-party lab, pharmacies can proceed directly to verification studies using their specific drug products, eliminating the need to repeat the full validation process.
